Sugaring Wax with Rose Oil (With Strips) - 150grams

Step 1: Warm Sugaring: Remove the lid. Place the pot only (without the lid) in the microwave and warm for 5 - 10 seconds only. Do not overheat.
Remove the Sugaring pot from the microwave. Using the spatula, then stir the Sugaring to ensure that it has a slightly warm, smooth consistency.
If the Sugaring is runny, this means it is too hot so do not use it. You will need to set it aside and wait until it cools down and becomes a thicker, smoother consistency and slightly warm before using.

 

Step 2: Apply the Sugaring: Using the spatula, spread a thin layer of Sugaring to a small section in the direction of hair growth. Immediately place the cloth strip over the thin layer of Sugaring and press down firmly and smoothly in the direction of hair growth.

 

Step 3: Remove the Sugaring: Leave the cloth strip on for 2 - 3 seconds, then hold your skin taut with one hand and quickly remove the cloth strip in the opposite direction of hair growth. The same cloth strip can be re-used even if there is wax on the strip.

 

Repeat until the desired area is hair-free, smooth, and sweet

Prep your skin by exfoliating 24 hours before sugaring (optional but helps to prevent ingrown hairs). Ensure your skin is clean, dry, and free of oils and lotions.

 

If hair removal is patchy, you might be spreading it on too thick! Try applying a thinner layer of Sugaring with the spatula.

 

Always throw away the used Sugaring and never put it back in the jar.

 

Wash any excess Sugaring residue on your skin with lukewarm water.

 

The cloth strips are reusable and can be cleaned with lukewarm water and left out to dry for your next use.

 

Do not shave in between Sugaring sessions.

 

Avoid exfoliating the treated area of your skin for a minimum of 48 hours after Sugaring.

 

Keep the skin clean and avoid perfume soaps, deodorants or products with chemical irritants for 24 hours.

 

Regularly cleanse and hydrate your skin.

Although the Sugaring Rose Oil wax with strips can be used all over the body, we recommend using it for your intimate, more sensitive parts of the body like underarms, bikini, and face.

OVERHEATED SUGARING CAN CAUSE BURNS.

 

You should not use sugaring if any of the following apply: you’re using retinol or Vitamin C on your skin; you’re taking steroids; you’re on Accutane; you have bruising, swelling, rashes, open sores, a sunburn, cold sores, scares, irritated skin or have an active skin disease on the desired sugaring area such as folliculitis or eczema.

 

Before using Sugaring, test your skin reaction by applying a small part of the area you want to remove hair from. If, after 24 hours, there is no adverse reaction, Sugaring is safe to use.

 

If your skin experiences a reaction, immediately remove the product by rinsing it with cold water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.

 

Skin may appear red for a short while after use.
